Meet our award-winning Executive Chef, Michael Annandono
Named one of America's best chefs by bestchefsamerica.com, Chef Michael gets his Italian inspiration from the Piedmont area of Italy. After graduating culinary school, he traveled around Italy learning about regional foods and cooking up delicious Italian cuisine. When he returned home to Cleveland, he wanted to open his own restaurant. After searching for the perfect location, Chef Michael and his business partner opened Michaelangelo’s in May 2006 right in the heart of Cleveland's Little Italy.
After a successful launch and many accolades, Chef Michael and his dedicated team opened a second location in Big Sky, Montana in 2016. Michael originally discovered his love for Big Sky when he ventured out west to stay with his business partner and hit the slopes. He fell in love with an area located right outside of Yellowstone National Park and knew this was the perfect place to open a second location.
A Family Affair
Chef Michael enjoys working alongside his sister Emily Annandono. They run the restaurants together and have both been in the restaurant business for most of their adult lives. When asked, “What makes your restaurant special?” Emily answered:
